Alejandra created NEO Academy because the archaic landscape of traditional education marketing and recruitment needed a fresh start. So many organisations which simply offered the same old same, did not stand for anything other than growth, and kept their clients dependent on them as long as possible.
By working with fewer clients in more personal ways, being unafraid to embrace innovation, and bringing a strong set of core values into the business, Alejandra has carved her own path. She has worked within and together with big and small institutions, in Europe, the US and LATAM for many years, and brings not only a network of connections but a deep knowledge of the world of education marketing and recruitment. As a matter of fact, she is now undergoing a 2 years mandate as an Associate of the Marketing & Recruitment Steering Group of the EAIE (European Association for International Education), major conference and community for leaders in European education institutions.
*And the CEO part? Instead of the traditional Chief Executive Officer, Alejandra has shifted her focus to being Chief Empowerment Officer. Indeed, she founded NEO on principles of trust, purpose and connection; meaning we take our work, but not ourselves, seriously.
Alejandra is the true definition of a digital nomad: one month in Spain, the next is the U.S., and with a little Antarctica thrown in for good measure. This international mindset has meant that NEO is a born global, remote-first and adaptive team right from inception.
As a client, you are likely to meet Alejandra at the start of our journey together to discuss what is needed, and to ensure that the partnership is a good fit. We are particular about maintaining quality relationships as well as quality work. Alejandra is always involved and on-hand for check-in meetings if needed, though it is Sole and the rest of the team who will be driving the project forward and working with you day-to-day. Alejandra may have created NEO, but NEO is a family of professionals, not one individual.
